Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell (nee Robertson born 27 March 1970, height 5'9 is a American actress who is known for her role in the role of the character Dr. Juliet Burke on ABC's TV series Lost as well as FBI Agent Erica Evans on V. She's appeared in films such as The Santa Clause 2 The Santa Clause. Gia. The Escape Clause. Mitchell is a part of Eric Kripke's television show Revolution that airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell is her stepfather, and Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins) and her mother are both lawyers from Dallas. Mitchell, her mother and two children relocated from New York to Dallas Texas where Mitchell's mother was married in 1975. Mitchell went to Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts which is a magnet public high school. The eldest sister of Katherine Day Kate Mitchell, Kristina Helen Kristie Mitchell and Kristina H. Kristie Mitchell. She graduated in 1991 from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and furthering her studies at the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years at the Dallas Theater Center and a one-year stint at Encore Theater.
