Christina Haack is a Californian born lady. She was born July 9th of 1983. Following her graduation, her first job was with the real estate industry. It was through this that she met her future husband Tarek El Moussa. After the 2008 crash of the stock market the real estate market was hit hard by investors as well as house flippers lost their money. Tarek El Moussa nearly wiped out in the 2008 financial crisis. The cost of their apartment was $700 per week, compared to the $6,000 they had been paying monthly for their house. The economy and their businesses gradually recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek requested a colleague to assist him in creating the HGTV audition tape, which featured his and Christina the process of flipping houses from beginning to end. Pie Town Productions, a production company based in New York City, was the first to receive the tape. The execs were infatuated with Christina and Tarek's love story. The couple signed a deal with HGTV. In April of 2013, "Flip of Flop" premiered. In the seven seasons that ran from 2013 and 2017 the show was broadcast in 92 episodes. The series featured Christina and Tarek purchasing homes located in Orange County. They would invest weeks in transforming the homes to be able to sell them for profits. Tarek concentrates more on remodeling and demolishment, while Christina is the one in charge of designing. They also keep everything in order.
