Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in 1980. Her parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier, both television news directors. Her family was born in Huntington Woods Michigan. Kristen was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan, to the family of a Polish mother and father that is German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen discovered her passion for entertainment from a young stage of her life. She was cast in the role of Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell was signed by her mother to become an agent when she was thirteen years old. Then, she was chosen for the newspaper advertisements and commercials for TV. Now, Bell also begins private acting lessons. Bell made an appearance in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell was a member of the Drama and Music Club of Shrine Catholic High School. She was the star of Dorothy in her high school's production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell was then transferred into New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell quit the school in 2001, when she landed the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. The is the year she made her first credited debut in Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and her character was not shown in the credit sequence. The year 2002 saw her first major role. Bell appeared in the Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
